Brayden B

I was so excited when Drew contacted me about her son's first birthday invitations because she's pretty much up to anything when it comes to creativity, being such a creative person herself. She's such a talented photographer, being the master mind behind our family portraits back in October, she's amazing! But she's also a really good friend.

Drew and Chuck both went to UCLA, and are really big UCLA fans of course. So when it came to choosing a theme for Brayden's first birthday, I don't think it was much of a debate for them. I knew that they had season tickets for the football season so I thought what a perfect theme for the invitations!! A Brochure and a ticket, in a cute first birthday party kind of way. I asked Drew if they had an old ticket stub laying around and she brought it right over... with one stipulation... she needed it right back because that was the ticket stub from when UCLA beat USC!! :) I scanned a copy of it, and immediately gave it back!

Here is the final product. A baby blue pocket folder, with a 'brochure' stitched in with UCLA yellow thread, and a matching ticket to top it off tucked away in the pocket on the back cover. Overall though, I think the photos of cute little Brayden make the whole invitation. He's such a happy little boy!! Whenever I see him, he's smiling from ear to ear.

Happy Birthday Brayden!

Ally

One of my favorite cousins... well married in cousin, we are both married into the family, but she's like a real cousin, contacted me to do some baby shower invitations for a friend of her's baby shower. It was kind of a stressful project because the girl having the baby is such a great designer herself, so it was kind of a lot of pressure. :)

A small tea party for her first baby girl. I wish I still had the inspiration photo, but I lost it when my email crashed. But she said it was a perfect match!

Jill, one of my favorite customers, came to me when planning one of her friends' baby shower. I was so honored because I did Jill's baby shower invitations when she was preggo. Jill is another customer that contacted be back when I was first starting out and after she received my best friend's baby announcement in the mail. Thanks for coming to me again Jill! You are such a joy to work with!!

Stephanie

The theme of the baby's room is Winnie the Poo, the theme of the baby shower was Winnie the Poo as well. Stephanie's Sister-in-Law came to me wanting a very simple design utilizing the Winnie the Poo colors.

Announcing Baby Sadie

A very warm welcome to little cutie pie Sadie! Sadie's mom, Sunshine, contacted me after seeing little Gracie's Announcement. I love when someone receives a piece in the mail and loves it as much as I do, and loves it so much that they want to contact me to do their special piece too. It's the biggest compliment. Sunshine had a theme that she had been carrying out through the baby's room, to her baby shower, and wanted her announcements to reflex that theme too.

Here's the inspiration photo that Sunshine sent me:

And after a few rounds of designs, this is what was sent out to annouce Saide's birth!!

Introducing Baby Cameron James

As some of you already know, my little sister has finally had her baby. Little Cameron James was born on Monday, June 9th at 2:59pm. She was/is absolutely beautiful and perfect!! She was 3 weeks early and weighed a healthy 7 pounds, 2 ounces. I just can't get enough of her! I love you baby girl!!

When it came time for me to do her announcement I knew exactly what I wanted to do. And it's so easy when using photos by Drew of DrewB Photography.

Congratulations to my little sister and her hubby! I love you all!

Announcing Baby Kieran

For a soccer family just like ours.... a trading card was the perfect piece to announce this little cutie.

{{Baby Announcement}} - Baby Gracie Lee

Well, I wanted to save this one for my little sister's unborn baby... but when Nicole called me and said that she wanted something that make people say WOW! I knew that I just had to use it. I guess the challenge is on to find one even cuter than this to debut my unborn niece. Nicole is a long time friend, we actually went to High School together and we played softball together in Bobby Sox! HEHE. She already has 2 kids and Gracie Lee is her baby, even though her son is only 17 months. Her oldest is adorable, her son is the most peaceful kid that I have ever ran across, and her little girl is one TINY cute thing! She was the smallest at only a light 6 pounds. Her hands and feet are the tiniest things you've ever seen.

Congratulations Nicole and the addition to your family, and Thank You! for thinking of me for this special event!!!

Mommy + Daddy + BabIES = a sudden family of 4!!!

Here is the announcement announcing Krysta and Brett's baby girls. I went to High School with Krysta, and recently reconnected through a mutual friend... who we also went to High School with. Krysta and Brett just welcomed their first and second born into their family on November 10th, 2007, twin baby girls. They are so cute, and I'm so excited because I get to meet these cute faces next weekend!!

Congratulations Krysta and Brett, and thanks for thinking of me for this special occasion.
